Feast of the Our Lady of Peñafrancia

the image of our Beloved INA was being prepared for the start of a concelebrated mass in Her honor at the our Lady of Fatima chapel(sorsogon city), She was carried by the seminary fathers: padre totep (spiritual director) & padre jappy (prefect of seminarians)...but before that, the seminary community and throngs of Marian devotees had a motorcade which started from the OLPSeminary grounds to the our Lady's village, the Sts. Peter & Paul subdivision, and sorsogon city proper

coincidentally, the start of the Peñafrancia festivities was also the birthday of our seminarian-son, rodney, who wanted very much to go home but padre egay (rector/principal) denied his bday wish and simply said "padaba ka man namon didi, may handa man kita nan may motorcade pa ngani, habo ka masabay sa selebrasyon san ato Mahal na Ina?" ...makasayuma pa baya an bata na mas mayad lugod an selebrasyon san bday nya kay nakasabay pa sya sa festivities san ato Mahal na Ina. . .tnx padre!

my family's summer excapade - 1

Chocolate Hills was our 1st stop on our 1 day trip in Bohol (via Cebu)...the hills are really amazing, hope that this Philippine natural wonder will win the coveted place in the new seven natural wonders of the world contest - vote here!

baragat w/ long time friends

the only thorn among the roses...wara pakaopod si caloy kay may hapdos(pic was taken at rizal beach). i'm here with my long time friends(l-r): ma. vivian karen pura-bondoc(since childhood), belinda berenguer-aguirre & chona san jose-gonzalez (since freshmen days in olps minor). we went fishing at karen's fish & crab farm in the morning and the tilapias we caught were grilled for our lunch. belinda and chona also brought prime cuts of pork meat to be grilled & fresh fruits. karen was our host for the day and prepared a very sumptous pancit canton, inihaw na bangus & pepino salad from her farm. an ambag ko na asin para sawsawan san green mangoes & tomatoes, nalimotan ko pa hehehe kaya an ambag ko presensya lang hehehe!

i got a surprise visit from sano siegfred "bong/bomick" miaco just this afternoon.. he's going back to manila early tomorrow morning and a night trip back to australia.. wara lamang paka-jamming kay sibot si sano.. hope to see him again in better times maybe this december.
